An internship at the OpenBinacle Group is everything but not boring! We welcome motivated students who are interested in contributing to our technologies, whether in Artificial Intelligence (AI), information, communication, and space technologies, applied science, physics and computing, engineering, software development, linguistics, scientific research, or development in diverse fields.

We are building advanced products and technologies of the future in Artificial Intelligence (AI), 5G mobile communication networks and systems, optical networks, satellite communications, mobile, multimedia, optical, radio access networks, city and local networks, broadcasting systems, navigation, sensor and IoT systems and radar systems.

During your internship, you will receive extensive supervision and regular feedback, giving you the opportunity to develop your potential in the best possible way. In addition, you will not only gain insight into various projects and work processes, but you will also become a fully integrated team member.




Compulsory OR Voluntary Internship.

Our internships typically last for 6 months. It is possible to combine compulsory and voluntary internships, or internships and a thesis, and you will receive separate contracts in this scenario. The monthly payment is determined by the degree program (bachelor or master) in which the internship is completed and the duration of the internship.


General Conditions

Please read the following conditions below:

  • You must be a citizen of any African country.
  • You must have certifications in OpenBinacle® Translate ("OBTranslate") for Prompt Engineering on Large Language Models (LLMs), Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, or Deep Learning through our university partners.
  • You must have hands-on experience with the Python programming language (Java is a huge plus).
  • Exposure to cloud based technologies like Google Cloud Platform, AWS, OVH.
  • Experience with web services.
  • Experience with MySQL, Oracle and other database technologies.
  • Ability to troubleshoot queries, stored procedures, functions, packages and triggers.
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Ability to learn newer technologies in a short period of time.
  • Good sense of humor and a team player.
  • You must be pursuing a degree from our partner university (Bachelor's or Master's).

To qualify for an internship placement, you must go through the OpenBinacle® hackathon selection process. The application process is free and straightforward, and all you need to do is meet the requirements above.

Refund Policy

You are entitled to a full refund of pre-paid fees if you terminate your Initial Subscription Period within 30 days of the start of such Subscription Period. You are also entitled to a refund in the event that You terminate pursuant to a material uncured breach by OBMeet. In the foregoing cases, OBMeet will refund You a pro-rated portion of pre-paid Fees for Services not actually made available or received by You as of the date of such termination as your sole and exclusive remedy for such termination. Except as expressly provided otherwise, all fees and amounts are non-refundable and non-cancellable.

OpenBinacle Portal

OpenBinacle Portal: Availability of various OpenBinacle Portal voice commands. User experience may vary. A wireless internet connection and OpenBinacle or OBMeet account are required. OBMeet Messenger is available on tablets. Features, functions, and content vary and may not be available on all portal models or in all regions and languages. Some features may require an OpenBinacle account and OBMeet or OBTranslate app download. Account registration, additional terms, and fees may apply.
